Why does my pet rat have tar-like feces?
My pet rat is a 3 year old, intact male. I know his days are probably numbered considering he is a senior citizen and he has been rather sick lately. I am almost positive that he has had mycoplasma his whole life which I have been able to treat with antibiotics with great success over the past few years. However, this time he is rather sick and has extra porphyrin coming out of his eyes and nose which is unusual. He also has the head tilt, lack of appetite, his right top tooth has become overgrown for the first time (causing sores on his bottom lip) and he has developed a tar-like feces which is a dark yellow to brown in tint. It’s really gooey and has a blood clot consistency. During his bath today I was cleaning under his tail and a long strip of the gooey feces was oozing out. I grabbed it with a tissue and proceeded to pull more out while trying to clean him. It is disgusting to say the least but I want to know if anyone else has experienced this or knows what it could be? It didn’t seem to bother him or cause him pain, he seems like he is fighting to live. I’ve been bottle feeding him water with antibiotics and gave him some pureed bananas today. I know it’s a long shot but is there anything that can be done aside from euthanasia?
*edit* His tooth has been trimmed but it still seems like he is not very interested in his food. I’m most concerned with what can be causing his feces to be jelly/tar-like. I know what’s going on with the rest of the symptoms.
Im sorry to hear that your rat may be approaching the end of his life. My brothers rat was like that, and she died. i think your best bet would be to take him to the vet. the lack of appetite tells me that he is sick, (way to be capt obvious lol), being as i have two rats myself and they would eat me out of house and home if i would let them. it sounds like he had a good life, and euthanasia probably isnt the worst thing that could happen to him. in the long run, its really up to you.

Whether or not you get him euthanized, he needs to be taken to the vet. If you want to keep him around longer, you really should get that tooth trimmed and find out what you can do about the feces. The rat may not be eating because his teeth do not allow him to. Good luck, bring him to the vet!

Difference between virtuosity on piano and virtuosity on violin?

Petr has already given you the complete answer. There is no difference between any instrument as regards the player achieving supreme technical mastery — i.e. virtuosity — it’s just achieved for each instrument in its own terms. My technique as a pianist is pretty useless on a violin fingerboard and the reverse is equally true.
Being virtuous on any instrument, on the other hand, opens a can of worms where angels fear to tread…

Virtuosity is a quality. It’s definition may be applied to other acts or media other than music.
It is a very high level of technical ability, and in the original sense of the word, also meant a high level of quality along with a completely assured technique.

What's the difference between a skateboard and an old school skateboard?
I know that an old school is wider but why would someone rather have and oldschool than just a regular skateboard?
old school boards are shaped differently . new boards are made for more things, like ollies, nose slides, tail slides. if u want to do tricks i recommend a new board, if u cruise around, and go down hills and stuff, i would think u would want an old school board

What are the basic vaccines for goats?
I have a 3 week old baby goat,and I want to have and/or know of all the vaccines he will need.The man I got him from said he needed to be wormed.He said it was some type of shot I would give to him in the back(to just pinch the skin and inject).If so what type of worm medicine should I give him?I want to know the ones he will need now and the ones he will need later.

Your vet may or may not know what vaccinations your goat will need. I would put the kid on a coccidiastat for controlling coccidia. I’d also see if your area is deficient in selenium because you may want to give a selenium shot. Worming is usually not done buy giving a shot but by giving the injectable Ivermecten orally. He’ll also need a CDT shot. This you should ask your vet about.

Should I ask her out again or forget her?
I asked this woman I often see to go out with me, so I asked her out to a movie and asked her if she was busy…she kind of hesitated and said she had to go to a party and mabye some other time. I took that as "not interested". But lately she’s been making excuses to talk to me and the other night basketball came up, I asked her if she ever went to a game and she said "no but I’d definetely go to one though". I almost asked her if she wanted to go, but then figured she already turned me down once so why bother.
Should I bother trying to ask her out again? Or just forget it? I’m a handsome, in shape dude so I’m not sure why she didnt wanna go out with me the first time. She is jewish, mabye thats why. Mabye she only dates jews, I dunno. What do you think?
Try forgetting about her after a while she might feel shes missing the attention, then play hard to get what she can’t get makes her want even more.

I’d say just leav her unless you really see something special in her. If no then don’t even waste your time on people who wouldn’t do the same for you. As for the Jewish thing that migh be it too. If she’s really religious or her parents don’t let her bu I highly doubt this is the reason.

If you are over 18, then check out this site. It is a great resource. If not, then I’d say ask her out again if you are really interested. It is entirely possible that she had a party to go to. At the same time, always have more than one plate spinning. Don’t ask just one girl out. Go out there and date as many women as you can. It’s a numbers game. Some will say no and some will say yes. Don’t limit yourself.

Why do people believe in the old testament?
Ok here is the thing:
How do you believe that a man took 2 of every animal & put them on an ark.
How do you believe that a man would kill his only son for God.
How do you believe that it is an abomination to sleep with the same sex, because some people thought of it as unnatural, but we have now discovered that it is very natural & that it is not a choice, because if it was a choice, than people would marie the opposite sex & have children, but they don’t because they are not sexually attracted to the opposite sex. The same goes for hermaphrodites, they are born with the same genitalia. So who do they have sexual relations with?
How do you believe it is an abomination to eat shell fish or shave or if you divorce that you get stoned to death.
How do you believe fornicating is a sin because through study people have found out that because years ago they didn’t have much knowledge as to today’s world, they thought that if man fornicated he would be killing a child & there fore put to death. That was a jewish thing. & the Jews had very few people & that is why they didn’t want people to fornicate because they would be losing a child. But now in today’s world we know that we ovulate & have lots of seamen.

We can not take the Old Testament literally. There are few words of Jesus in the New Testament that we can take literally. We read the bible to experience the spiritual truth behind the story.

All religious books are fairytales with a touch of (the author’s) morality thrown in the mix (yeah, yeah, I get it, all religious books EXCEPT your one, but the same applies for all other religious followers, so…). Trouble is, people who believe these fairytales have to go a very long way from accepting it as a fact to seeing it as an exaggeration to realizing it’s just a metaphor to accepting the moral behind it to choosing those parts of the moral that are still valid today… Kinda like all other fairytales, if you think about it.
